Scott Ramer won the top section of the Ides of March Mini-Swiss held Sunday, March 15, 2009 in the Hamilton Williams Campus Center.

Sinan Murat Baughman, Columbus State Community College, won the Ohio Collegiate Chess Championship individual trophy and The Ohio State University won the team traveling trophy held Saturday, April 4, 2009 in the Bayley Room of Beeghly Library on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University.

The Bishops Chess Club meets on Sunday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. in the Bayley Room on the second floor of Beeghly Library. Anyone interested in chess is welcome.
